Currently, the boards overview on narrow screens, does not show the date+time of last posts.
If a person visiting a phpBB forum on e.g. a smartphone has an account, they can simply find new posts by looking for "unread posts"-icons.
But if they do not have an account, the only way to find new posts is to manually open all boards.
The latter is labor intensive and should not be required.
As an example:
The boards overview of Phpbb.com is at: https://www.phpbb.com/community/
Visit that webpage, and decrease the width of your browser window.
The date+time of the last posts will disappear.
On narrow screens, the boards overview does show the number of topics.
In my opinion, that is less useful information than the last date+time.
Regardless, there is sufficient space to the right of that number to display the suggested date+time.
Also, adding the date+time there should be relatively easy to implement.
