phpBB Ideas • Separate enabling for Registation vs Posting checks of DNSBL

Currently within ACP security settings, there is the ability to enable or disable DNSBL checks to help prevent spam.
When enabled, IP address checking against DNSBL lists at spamcop and spamhaus is performed for any registration or posting.

It would be very helpful to be able to enable/disable this functionality separately for registration vs posting; for example on our board it is helpful to minimise spammer registrations, but it would be helpful to disable the posting check as we have several users who regular have trouble posting from dynamic IPs assigned while travelling. While we could disable the DNSBL checks completely, separate controls would allow us to keep the useful functionality active while disabling the problematic, as I suspect the registration checks are very helpful, while the posting checks (since we don't allow posting until after manual activation post-registration) are mostly hindrance.

Request therefore: please consider splitting the DNSBL enable/disable bullet in ACP security configuration into two bullets, one for registration checks and the other for posting checks. Thank you.
